Licorice Root (Dried) 1oz
A 1oz package of licorice root which adds a pleasing flavour to darker ales like porters and stouts. Also sweetens the beer and improves head retention. Complements well with juniper berries and mugwort. For best use, add 1/2 - 1 oz during the last 20 minutes of the boil in a 5 gallon batch.
